Found just to the west of Austin, Texas, Falconhead Golf Club offers a great choice for those living in the Lake Travis area. It's just minutes from many of the top neighborhoods in Lake Travis and offers one of the premier courses in the Austin Metro area.

This Hill Country golf course offers a beautiful layout with knobby oaks and decades throughout. The rolling hills make it challenging and the creeks and ponds make it one of the finest courses in the entire area.

Falconhead was laid out by PGA Tour Design architects making it an incredible place for all skill levels of golfers. It's an inviting course offering a unique golfing experience to those living in Lake Travis.

The Course

The golf club opened in 2003 with a golf course designed by PGA Tour architects. Quality golf is what you'll find here with enough challenge for even the most advanced player. The architects fit the course into the Texas Hill Country beautifully by using the gentle ups and downs all throughout. It's a tournament-level course with five sets of tee boxes perfect for all golfers to enjoy.

The course measures 5,170 yards from the shortest tee box and 7,181 from the longest tee box. It's a par 72 with four par 5 holes, four par 3 holes and 10 par 4 holes. The course rating ranges from 70.9 to 75.0 with the slope ranging from 125 to 134.

The Golf Shop

Along with the beautiful course, Falconhead Golf Club offers a professional golf shop with top brands, such as Adidas, Nike, and Footjoy. They also carry Titleist clubs and balls. The shop is well stocked offering plenty of clothing, shoes, and equipment for all golfers.

Practice Facilities

The practice facilities are Falconhead offer plenty of options for those looking to tune up their game. They offer target greens on the range, along with areas for chipping and practicing sand shots. There's a separate area for working on your short game and a large putting surface, as well.

Talon's Bar & Grill

After you play a round, you can pick up a meal or beverage at Talon's Bar & Grill. They serve all types of options from breakfast to dinner with food and drink specials daily. You'll also get to enjoy beverage cart service every day of the week.

Rates and Other Information

Rates for playing a round of golf at the Falconhead Golf Club vary throughout the year and based on the time of day. They range from $39 to $89 for a round including a cart with discounts for seniors and juniors. Replay rounds are also discounted.

The course does have a dress code requiring a collared shirt. Cutoff shorts and metal spikes are not allowed.
