Lake Travis Events: December 16th to 24th

Plenty of events are going on all throughout the Lake Travis area for the holiday season. Some are holiday specific events, while others are just regular events you can enjoy most of the year. If you're looking to get out and about before Christmas Day, check out the following events happening in Lake Travis between December 16th and 24th.

12 Days of Christmas Promotion

Wine specials, dining packages, hill country experiences, disc golf gear and so much more will be available through the 12 Days of Christmas Promotion. It starts on December 13th and runs through the 24th. This event is an online event offering specials for all kinds of things you can have delivered directly to your door. It's put on by Flat Creek Estate Winery and Vineyard, which is also offering wine tastings throughout the holiday season.

Meet & Greet with Santa

The Hill Country Galleria will hold a Meet & Greet with Santa from 4pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday until Christmas Day. The Meet & Greet will also run from Noon until 8pm on Saturdays, Noon until 6pm on Sundays and from Noon to 4pm on Christmas Eve.

Bring the entire family and get your pictures taken with Santa. You can even bring your pets.

Holiday Spiced Sangria Sampling

If you enjoy sangria, you'll love the Holiday Spiced Sangria Sampling events from 11am to 5pm on December 16th at the We Olive & Wine Bar in Austin. This event will provide plenty of fun with samples available while supplies last.

Christmas & Claros Dinner

Sone House Vineyard will provide a Christmas & Claros Dinner on December 16th at 7pm. This dinner will include three courses with wine pairings with each course. Reservations are recommended and the cost is $65 for members and $80 for non-members.

Extended Holiday Shopping Hours

Throughout the holiday season, the Hill Country Galleria will extend holiday shopping hours. Extended hours will allow shoppers to get everything they need for the holidays. The Galleria will be open for an additional hour until 10pm Monday through Saturday and for an additional two hours until 8pm on Sundays. The Galleria will also open an hour earlier on Sundays at 11am throughout the holiday season.

2nd Annual Candles & Carols

Held on December 23rd, the Candles & Carols night at Angels Icehouse will features John David Kent providing great music. Candles will be handed out and those in attendance can enjoy great caroling time together. The event will start at 7:30pm and run until about 9pm.
