The late 1980s brought Al Hughes, a real estate developer to the area. He purchased the parcel of land and started to develop Steiner Ranch. The property moved from one developer to another due to ups and downs in the real estate market. Finally, it was completed by Taylor Morrison, including the final stages of commercial and residential construction.
